Careers at Redrow

Redrow operates in the UK via nine divisions situated throughout England and Wales. Together these operations manage over 80 developments and function through an infrastructure that includes:

Construction

Construction
Our build teams are responsible for managing the construction of new Redrow homes.

The site management team co-ordinates subcontracted trades, and is also responsible for ensuring that build quality and workmanship remains high. In performing their role, it is vital that the site management team works to our high health and safety standards and agreed construction schedules.

Sales

Sales
For customers, the key contact during their purchasing process is our dedicated sales consultant. Each development has its own sales consultant, who has knowledge of the local market and can advise customers on the range of products currently available. The sales consultant supports customers from first enquiries through to sale completion, and ensures that they are kept up to date with ongoing work at the development.

Commercial

Commercial
The commercial department is responsible for:
  • Estimating the costs involved in all our construction projects
  • Tendering and subsequent purchasing of subcontractor services and materials
  • Cost control, so as to ensure our developments are built to budget

Land & Planning

Land & Planning
The property-building process begins with the acquisition of suitable land, which we buy with and without planning permission so as to ensure that we can maximise potential development opportunities. Each of our divisional offices has its own land-buying team, with comprehensive knowledge of the local market - the land-buying team will work with our legal and technical departments to apply for outline planning consent.

Technical Departments

Technical Departments
Our technical department is involved with the design and planning of all new Redrow developments. The process starts with planned layouts of individual developments and concludes with the production of drawings and the provision of advice to our build teams. The technical team also co-ordinates planning applications, so as to ensure that we comply with relevant legislation.

To ensure the smooth operation of our business, we also employ key personnel in vital support functions within our North Wales Head Office, which include:
