Inspiring the next generation to build

Inspiring young people to pursue rewarding careers in construction and housebuilding.

Rewarding careers

Top 100 Apprenticeship employer for the 5th consecutive year (recognised at the national Apprenticeship Service awards). We are also proud to be a member of the prestigious 5% Club, a campaign focused on creating momentum behind the recruitment of apprentices and graduates into the UK workforce.

Redrow's apprentice electricians are better connected

Redrow leads the industry in developing the next generation of builders and skilled tradespeople. Not only do our apprentices get first class training, both on site and at local colleges, Redrow also partners with key suppliers to ensure they get a comprehensive understanding of the wider aspects of their chosen field. For example, MA Broughton Electrical Contractors have trained electrical apprentices for over 30 years, and currently mentors Redrow apprentices on site.

Building partnerships

We are committed to a number of strategic partnerships with local colleges including South Essex, Wolverhampton UTC, Coleg Cambria, Medway UTC, Exeter College and South Staffordshire College, which provides a variety of opportunities to help embed classroom based learning, for construction and the built environment students.

Young enterprise

Redrow is working with Young Enterprise, a leading charity that empowers young people to harness their personal and business skills. The goal of the programme, which will reach approximately 900 young people, is to raise the profile of housebuilding and highlight the range of career choices within the industry.
