We kicked off the 2019 award season by taking home the title of Large Developer of the Year at Property Week’s RESI Awards.
More than 1,200 people attended the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, which was hosted by comedian Stephen Amos.
Our founder and outgoing Chairman, Steve Morgan CBE, was also in attendance and picked up the prestigious ‘Personality of the Year’ award.
Three of our site managers were 'Highly Commended' in the NHBC Health and Safety Awards 2019.
Now in their tenth year, the awards are given to site managers who demonstrate an outstanding level of health and safety management from planning through to execution.
Darren Smith (Colindale Gardens, West London), Simon Longley (Langley Grange, Yorkshire) and Stewart O’Brien (The Loftings, Southern Counties) are three of just 23 site managers across the country to be awarded the sought-after health and safety title.
The NextGeneration initiative benchmarks the sustainability performance of the UK’s largest homebuilders.
This is awarded to a homebuilder that has demonstrated initiatives that go far beyond the criteria used for the benchmark. We have secured this prestigious award in recognition of our commitment to supporting healthy communities by developing a unique social value calculator.
The innovative calculator presents a monetary value against individual outcomes over a 25-year period, the typical length of a mortgage. For example, the tool calculated that over 25 years, 1 hectare of green space could contribute £9.7 million of social value.
A record number of Redrow employees were recognised in the 2019 Pride in the Job Quality Awards. 28 of our site managers were awarded the accolade, which celebrates the exceptional contribution site managers make in creating homes of outstanding quality.
The winners of the prestigious industry award are selected from a pool of 16,000 site managers across the UK. The 12-month selection and judging process identifies site managers who encapsulate skills such as leadership, technical expertise and attention to detail.
Redrow was awarded the top Five Star rating by the Home Builders Federation (HBF), based on a survey of its customers in which more than 90% said they would recommend Redrow to a friend.
We also became the first top ten housebuilder to join the Institute of Customer Services and this year were nominated for Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy at the UK Customer Satisfaction awards.
Business magazine and website NW Insider named us Housebuilder of the Year and, and, in particular, reflects the achievements of our divisions operating across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
In addition to picking up the top housebuilder trophy, we were a finalist in the large housing development category for our transformation of the old Woodford Aerodrome site near Stockport into a 950-home garden village that will also include shops, a primary school and 19 separate areas of public space, parks or play.
In 2018 we scooped three accolades at the WhatHouse Awards: winner of the Housebuilder of the Year, gold winner of Best Large Housebuilder and bronze winner of Best Public Realm.
Our MyRedrow service won the award for ‘Innovation in Sales’
And Sales Consultant Craig Watts was named CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Practitioner of the Year.
We won the Housebuilder of the Year category at the Building Awards 2018.
We won the Construction and Property Business of the Year categories at the Insider North Wales Business Leaders Awards 2017.
We won an Innovation Award for our 'Don't ignore the warning signs' campaign.
This was an industry first for Redrow who are the only House Builder to achieve the British Institute for Learning & Development Quality Mark for the standard of training and training processes we deliver internally.
We had to meet a strict 12 point process in order to succeed and the Assessor from the British Institute for Learning & Development was confident in our credibility and quality of our training.
Redrow was proud to be named as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer for the fourth year running.
We won Build Magazine's Housebuilder of the Year category at the Interior Design Awards 2017.
We won silver in the Best Large Housebuilder of the Year category at the WhatHouse Awards 2016.
We were highly commended in the Large Employer of the Year category at the National Apprenticeship Awards West Midlands region.
We won the Show Home of the Year category for the Blenheim at Hartford Grange at Redrow's North West division.
And, Ben Finch, from our Lancashire division, won Property Apprentice of the Year.
Our Blenheim house type was once again in line for an award when it won the Best House category at the Sunday Times British Homes Awards.
We were proud to win Residential Development awards for:

We won the Gold Award for the Best Large Housebuilder category. We also won Silver for the Best Exterior Design category for our Kingston Riverside in Kingston-upon-Thames.

Redrow Homes won Housebuilder of the Year at the Building Awards 2014. And our Chairman Steve Morgan won Building Magazine Personality of the Year.
We were awarded a Five Star rating in the HBF Customer Satisfaction Survey.
We won Housing Development of the Year for our Summerhill Park development in Liverpool.
Our Horsforth Vale development in Leeds won a Silver Gilt in the Best Rural Garden/Landscape category.
Our regeneration project in Moston & Harpurhey, North Manchester won Residential Scheme of the Year.
